Well, the question of right or wrong, in this case, is just another attempt by some individuals to impose their views upon the masses. How you look is a matter of personal opinion. It depends on your intelligence and your understanding of your body and mind. Have you carried out the necessary analysis? Do you still feel that physical changes to your body using external solutions are necessary? If yes, then that is how you should proceed. Of course, it is important to understand that you may end up with consequences that you did not anticipate and do not like.

Excessive cosmetic surgery can leave long-lasting scars on the body. Well, it does not take a rocket scientist to understand the implications of these actions. The fact that we are born small and grow big later has a natural purpose and function. You are perfectly free to tinker with nature provided you are prepared to face the consequences. Of course, this is something that we all do on a daily basis.

From our decision to continue using automobiles that consume fossil fuels to our decision to stay away from certain harmful chemical substances-everything depends on a compromise and a balance of multiple factors. I have discovered that adopting this approach and ignoring the issue of right or wrong makes it easier to take a sensible decision.

So recently I came across a bit of news item that really shocked me when I read the headline. The headline said “Children Banned from raising their hands in class by school.” This is a strange development for me when I think of the thousands of years children have been raising their hands in school to get the attention of the teacher. It has never really been a problem before so why is it a problem now and is it such a grave problem that warrants the action taken?

According to the news report the reason for this drastic measure is that school officials believe that will reduce the disruptions in the classroom and that it will also help to promote a more inclusive and calmer atmosphere. So what they are asking students to do is to give the thumps up sign when they want to get the attention of the teacher or answer a question. So students between the ages of 7 and 11 are now asked to keep their arms lowered and give the thumbs up sign.

Now the real joke here is that these “brilliant” people at this school Burlington, East Yorkshire came up with this after an extended brainstorming session. Really, a brainstorming session? Where were the brains here? Their argument is that arm raising causes some students to not want to put up their arm because they have to be forceful when putting out their ideas and thoughts. Also according to the principal some students will put their arms up in front of other students create some degree of chaos. It’s like going to the doctor and finding out you have a certain undiagnosed problem and then seeking undiagnosed compensation and being told you must verbalize your request because filling out the forms is too time consuming.

Now they have even put up signs to encourage the practice. Who are they fooling? What is really happening is that the teachers are unable to maintain classroom control. I don’t believe that these children are any more aggressive in their enthusiasm in getting their teachers attention than students of the past, so what is the real problem. Maybe it is that these teachers need more training or something because the thumbs up will sooner or later recreate the problem it was meant to eliminate.

Not only does the video show the ruling classes deciding how and when people less fortunate than them can access broadband for free, it also clearly demonstrates the class divide still present in our modern society. Now I know many will accuse me of gleefully abusing the internet to make my point, but that would be to misunderstand what I’m telling you. A report published by The Independent three years ago supports my theory of just how much advantage the ruling classes have over the internet. With many bloggers the world over sharing their opinions on the information superhighway, it is easy to forget who the providers of those highways actually are. Think about it, could you blog unless there was a service provider to enable you to do so? Unless you are lucky enough to have a friend who is an internet entrepreneur, you would have to pay to have access to build a decent blog.

I am not criticising the people in Oakland for wanting to provide broadband access for those less fortunate – on the contrary I applaud their efforts! Yet you can see just how fine that line is between being helpful and being manipulative. At the end of the day the people who want to do the most good end up having to acknowledge the class divide. The internet is bringing people closer together and sharing information at a rate never dreamed of, but at the same time it is also dividing people even further. Without access to the latest technology and the money to pay for the fastest connections, those less fortunate then the upper classes will have to limp along in the slow lane of the highway. Yet there is hope.

More and more companies like abroadband are making the internet available to even the poorest users thanks to mobile technology. By keeping the prices low, people on the lower rungs of the class ladder who are just as intelligent (if not more) as those on the higher rungs are beginning to have access to the superhighways they previously couldn’t afford. It is encouraging, but the pressure needs to be kept up on the bigger companies.

Schemes like the one being run in Oakland are great, but in the end it will come down to a battle between service providers as to who can access the internet at the best speeds. I am still concerned that those with the most money will cruise past the poorer in the slow lanes. Yet I remain hopeful.

Do you think you are able to change things around for yourself? Going from being unemployed to someone who is making a six figure income, or going from working a job at shop fitting to owning a store is not easy task but it is not impossible. Every decision made in life has led you to where you are now and they will continue to lead you into your future. Decisions come from how you think and how you look at yourself in the world. If you choose to think big then your life will begin to change. Here are some ways to think big:

• Your must always dream big. Use the creative side of your brain when you dream of the life you want to live. There are no limits in your imagination, visualize yourself reaching your goals, going to uncharted territories, and being someone you can be proud of. Some of the greatest events started with just a dream. Someone dreamed of sending a man to the moon and it was done. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. dreamed of a day when his work for equal rights would begin to show fruit and it has.
• Everyday try visualize what your day will be like. Before you lay down for bed think of what you will accomplish tomorrow. Always imagine yourself waking up at the right time, having an excellent day, and accomplishing the goals set before you. Those who have big accomplishments visualize it in their mind before anyone else sees it. Having clear goals for your day will set you on the right path to accomplishing your dreams.
• If you want to start thinking big ask yourself big questions. Don’t ask questions like “why does this happen to me?” instead ask yourself “how you can change this situation?” If you ask questions that cause you to seem like a victim and not a victor then that is exactly what you will be. But constructive questions will open doors for you to change the course of your life.
• Take big problems and try your best solve them. To truly understand how big someone is you must look at the kinds of problems they solve. If they are just concerned about getting through traffic to travel to work then they are not thinking big. The big problems in life are the ones that keep you from accomplishing your major goals.

If you want to improve the condition of your life you must begin somewhere. Dreaming big, thinking big, asking big questions and solving big problems will lead you on the track to having a big life!

Travel on roads that have less traffic. When there is more traffic on the road there is a greater chance of an accident. You can also try to choose roads that are wide enough for you to get out of the way of a driver if need be.

Always be aware of your surroundings. While cycling you must not to be distracted by listening to music. You have to be alert so you can avoid accidents and stay safe while cycling.

A week ago, after installing Mac antivirus on my laptop, I was considering buying an elliptical to do my workouts on. So I did some research to see if it was an effective machine. This is what I found out.

If somebody in the Houses of Parliament suddenly said that people who earn over £100,000 are more intelligent, on average, than people who earn less than £20,000, there would be an enormous outcry and the politician in question would most likely be forced to resign.

While it is understandable that such a statement would provoke a controversial reaction, it is important to investigate the statistical data behind such claims. Recently, the BBC featured a programme which looked at Britain’s ‘high-fliers’ and the reason why people get the top jobs, while others don’t. It came to the conclusion that having an excellent education with an outstanding degree was beneficial, but in many cases this was not the defining criteria for winning the top jobs. Having an elite list of contacts and being ‘born’ into a certain social hierarchy meant such individuals would automatically have a ‘head start’ and would be much better placed to embark on a career in the City or the government.

The presenter of the programme was quite offended, however, when somebody alleged that high earners were more intelligent (on average) than low-income earners. The reasons for this, however, are clear. High-earners received a better education at school, were raised in an environment that stimulated informative processing and intellectual advancement, were pushed to work hard and succeed in life and would have endured harsh consequences and potential rejection if they did not succeed in the way that their parents and grandparents did, such as being the chief executive of a catering business like a Coconut Oil supplier. In contrast, low-income earners have to struggle to pay the rent and do not have the time or the money to teach their children to become ‘high-fliers’. Meanwhile, there is an extraordinary number of people who achieved widespread success from very modest upbringings. Needless to say, it is still easier to win the top jobs when you have that automatic boost from the very beginning.
